What is the DL382?
The DL382 is the Volkswagen Group 7-speed S tronic for longitudinal engines, built since 2015 and rated up to 400 Nm. It is used in Audi's mid-size models with front-wheel drive (0CK), quattro (0CL) and quattro ultra (0CJ).
A reinforced DL382+ version rated up to 500 Nm carries the code 0HL. The clutches and mechatronic share one oil circuit, and the electric auxiliary oil pump is a known weak point, so check both when diagnosing.

FAQ
DL382 questions
01Does a DL382 mechatronic fit a DL501 (0B5)?
No. The DL382 and the older DL501 are different gearboxes with different mechatronic units. Send us the gearbox code (0CK, 0CL, 0CJ) or the number on the old part.
02Mechatronic or TCU only?
Electrical faults with intact hydraulics can often be fixed with the TCU. Pressure faults, worn solenoids or pump problems usually need the complete mechatronic unit or valve body. Send us the fault codes and we advise.
03Is coding needed?
Yes. A replacement TCU or mechatronic needs basic settings, and on many Audi models component protection must be cleared online with the dealer tool.
04What is the minimum order and warranty?
One piece. Warranty depends on the part and condition and is written on your quotation.
